Great. Really nice fruit with a touch of spice. Just really good.

Apr 26th, 2020Deep ruby red with a purplish hue. Less fruit than prior tasting. Lots of black olives on the nose with a touch of caramel, followed up by roasted meats and purple flowers. Heavy tannins (7.5/10) yet rounded with a full body. Layered palate with a good amount of oak influence. A bit smoky with olives, blackberries, spices and a some more juicy black fruits as it aged with dark spice undertones. Long and lingering finish. Drink till 2025.
Your kind of wine @TheSkip!

This was my first experience with whole clusters. I think @Mike Smith has excelled here. There is a lovely balance between fruit and savory notes.
The wine is deep purple in the glass. Lovely mixed notes on the nose that suggest the palate. There is a minerality here that is wonderful along with dark fruit. The palate continues the same line with tomato stem mixed in with slightly underripe blackberry resulting in a great balance. Tannins are fine and smooth. Great finish.

A baby way too young. Give it 2+ years.

Nice balance on the palette, with a great tannic structure and complimentary acidity. Lovely balance, and rock-solid on day two. Suggested by my friend @TheSkip , and it's a solid suggestion. But, I would argue it's a touch pricey for what it is.
