Dark, dense, chewy, deep. Magnificent stuff going on here. I never get to drink Portuguese wines so this was a special treat.

Good balanced wine. Dark fruit driven with a long dry finish. Complex nose of dark cherry, cassis, licorice, plums, violets, earthy, baking spices, vanilla, dark chocolate and dusty tannins. Lovely wine.
