15 years ago today was our biggest Cab day of harvest. I refused to watch TV all day until I could go home, view the images and cry. Tonight we raise a glass in honor of all the firefighters and police who lost their lives, the citizens trapped in buildings and airplanes, the pilots, crew, and passengers, and all those left behind. A sad tribute to what the great Raymond family grew and what Boisett tore down. Score of brilliant fruit obscured by heavy handed wine making. Obvious micro oxidation and oak chipping yields a quick sell flashy wine with no ageability. Another Boisset/Gallo hack job. — 9 years ago
