Crimson with slightly Tawny rim. Lush black currant and plum aromas with some dusty Cedary Cabernet Notes. On the palate totally resolved Tannins - seamless classic claret. Perfumed and silky. A little on the New World side of Left Bank Bordeaux. After an hour or so in decanter - very impressive. A 💯 pointer from Robert Parker and #2 Wine in Wine Spectators Top 100 of 2006.

Youthful nose and palette. Ripe black fruits on the palette. Beautiful balance. Nice tannins, with relaxed acidity. Very solid.

Just let it breath for 45 mins and you'll be drinking pure joy.

Better than the last bottle opened, sexy silky texture gives way to softer big tannin

Absolutely monumental. That being said, it did have a nose that came across a little fortified. Probably a bit too ripe for my taste but an impressive wine

Group of 10. Overall assessment.... Good but not as great as the hype or a 100 point wine. Structure was there but did not have the all of the components in one package. Finish not as complex as some of the other wines we had. Nothing glaringly wrong, but nothing that made anyone claim it to be outstanding.

Impressive wine. Huge structure and concentration. Liked this a lot, but - for me - it lacks the freshness and élégance of the truly great years of this wine.
