Cooked fruit (maybe cherry) on the nose initially but once it opened up not as jammy. Deep ruby color. Bursting with what felt like pepper/spice. A hint of smoke. Light bodied. High acid. Low tannins. Simple.

Nice Barbera with a distinctive tamari note which suggests to me it would be a perfect red to serve with sushi.

straightforward, linear, tasty wine. cherry fruit, black olive, pepper and smoke, some earthiness, perhaps rose petal. it’s a nice simple sipping wine with really elegant mouthfeel.

Lots of acid, pretty mineral, black olive, tobacco, earthy but with a bite, maybe a touch of smoke, pretty short finish. From Seventh Avenue Liquors.

Un barbera d’alba très joliment fait. Tout simple, bien sur le fruit, fraise - des bois, peu de tannins voir pas, super équilibré, pas hyper long. Yum, super avec mes jolies pasta.
