Is this a vermouth, or a Chinato from a great Barbaresco estate? I don't guess it matters to this frisky "vino aromatizzato" by Punset, as it could shine in a Mezcal Manhatten or delight alongside a plate of drowned figs & Gorgonzola dolce! liked this more than i thought i would. nice blend of dolcetto, nebbiolo, and barbaresco. full bodied red with nice tannins, not too acidic, good length. notes of cherries, plum, raspberries and good amount of oakiness — 8 months ago

Dolcetto, Barbera, Nebbiolo blend that's surprisingly approachable now. Gracious yet firm. Purple flowers, dried fruits, potpourri of spices. Would have been even better with food, but will absolutely buy again. — 9 years ago
