Nice nose. Some cranberry and cherries. Flavors are excellent; juicy and citrusy. Balanced and old-new world blended to the nines.

When was the last time you drank a CA red with a label alcohol of 12.5%? Intriguing nose, but very astringent. Alcohol provides viscosity, among other things, so this wine should have been fined more. The herbaceous quality of the astringency does not help
