Pungent oceanic breeze rolls in on the aromatic tide of sea salted squeezed limes. Confident pale citrus layers across the palate in mineralic pleasure. Fishes of the land and sea will pair swimmingly.

A decent white. Chardonnay-like in terms of texture. Some tropical notes. Sustains without evolving.

Poggio al Tesoro is located in the admired area of Bolgheri, an appellation situated in the upper part of Tuscany’s Maremma, south of Pisa and just two miles from the Tyrrhenian Sea. Light sunshine color with aromas of stone and tropical fruits accompanied by floral tones and light spice notes. On the palate tangy peach, melon and lemon flavors, crisp, surrounded by pepper and spice. Medium body this wine finished with a gentle touch of minerality. Tasting Sample.

Solid! On the nose: nectarine, pineapple, and orange blossom. Medium bodied. Taste-wise: QUINCE! With lime and a pineapple finish. Very enjoyable. 13.5%

Drank this at a brilliant little restaurant down a dirt track near Greve-in-Chianti. Wine was In the fuller style. Mouthfilling.
