This is a very approachable Nebbiolo with violet, rose petal, sour cherry, black cherry, leather, tar, forest floor and black tea. High but not crushing acidity, medium plus tannins and beautiful balance of alcohol, fruit and medium plus body. Drinks very well with food.

Nice balance of flavor, tannin and acidity. 14.5%abv but it feels lighter than that

This is at it's peak. Mushroom, forest floor, strawberries w/ aged balsamic aromas. Still sturdy tannins but fine and long.

#langhenebbiolo - Spouting aromatics - dried rose petals, tea, sous bois, violets but not much tar notes. Lovely balance on the palate, medium bodied, soft tannins, steady acidity. It was probably the most food friendly Italian red at a lovely southern Italian Trattoria.
