Just phenomenal, as it should be. The nose, while penning its own signature, speaks to the rest of this wine's character and evolution. Flavors abound- but the mouthfeel is what this Pinot can use to sign for the wine that it is. Full-bodied and lush with a sort sense of what it will be next. Every nose-Full grows as memory in the mind- and the rest of it makes that memory come alive.

This could have used a little more time. Definitely got better as it got air.

Pisoni Estate Pinot has become something of a tradition at our house for Thanksgiving...and as usual, it did not disappoint. Not sure it was quite as good as the sourdough stuffing Vanessa made to accompany dinner...but it was close!

Wow...the ‘13 has developed well since my last impression August 2016...this is a big well balanced Pinot...color, aromatics and flavors were spot on...enjoyed with salmon at Bald Head Island’s Shoals Club overlooking Frying Pan Shoals

Also opened two days ago and stored cool, this is terrific, but not as good as the Melville Sandy’s (which is surprising, because the Pisoni Estate is my favorite pinot from California). Incredibly rich and balanced, but doesn’t have the elegance that made the Sandy’s so spectacular. Still a terrific wine.

Concentrated dark fruit, cherry and spice. This is a serious Pinot that grabs your attention from start to a long tart finish.
