Opens up with brightness and splash of pomegranate, cherries, tangerine. Hints of leather and earth blend with tannins and a moderate acidity into the finish.

Dec 6th, 20162008. A savory sledgehammer. Nose has balsamic, leather, menthol, dried cherries, and scorched earth. Earth, balsamic, and leather in the mouth, overwhelming the fruit. Lots of puckery tannin and some heat in the finish. Not my style.

Apr 23rd, 2023Smooth, well balanced, velvet, easy to drink, medium body, light tannins. Beautiful old world grapes make this one of the most drinkable Italian wines we’ve ever had. Pairs especially well with Cacio e Pepe and other higher fat content pastas.
