Hard to believe how delicious this red wine is from this white wine master. He should buy some Volnay now!

Stemmy at first. Showed much better after 3 hour decant. Raspberry, rose petals. Tannins a bit chunky and rustic.

I was hoping this would get better with time open, but it is oaky, has loads of pyrazine and just comes off as a hard wine. Pretty disappointing.

This vintage is quite forward, more juicy and slutty than the 2012 or 2013. Still highly enjoyable and enough complexity to keep me engaged for a good 24 hour run.

I think 2011 needs time. This was good, but could have been better with a few more years.

This is pretty forward and easy compared to the 2012. So enjoyable and worth the money. 2011=fun whereas 2012=serious thinking material
