A great reward for a very long day of outside chores; lawn, extensive plantings in the gardens, harvest in the early Fall might be the end of me this year. I hope we have enough canning jars!?

Prior notes apply, and then some, worthy of the score alone on the nose. Palate is amazing, slightly better than prior bottles. Last bottle on this stellar NV selection. Need to get more cellar depth on this one.

Stunning out of Riedel Vinum Champagne glasses!

Nose has yeasty bread, green mango, fresh lemon peel, clementine wedges, oxidized pear and wet, crushed limestone.

Palate has insane citrus rind, cold clementine slices, squeeze of lime, firm apricot, yellow apple peel and yeasty minerals (if that were a thing).

Crazy amount of power behind each sip, reveals so many layers and nuances as it warms in the glass, stunning.

Blend of 2012/2013 plus reserve wine, partial malolactic, half in stainless and half in oak barrel, 12 months elevage and 41 months of bottle age, all Grand Cru from Avize. Fun stuff here tonight!

Has some bubble gum on open that blows off after 15 minutes. The it has some nice brioche. Very rich. Fruity. Not what I’d call a mineral screamer. Bought from fass selections.
