+2hr decant.
Nose has black cherry, plum skin, raspberry, pink rose, wet earthy aromas and touch of alcohol.
Palate has rich, tart red cherry, tart blackberry, game or grass fed meat notes, light confectionery sugar on the long finish. Acidity is high, but smooth and very enjoyable, mouthwatering.
Very impressive bottle for just under $30, value delivered. Drink now or hold for 4-6 years. It's damn tasty, remaining bottles likely will not see 2021...In this household.

if all entry level burgs had this level of finesse, the world would be a better place. seamless oak integration—you really only feel it texturally and with a whisper of baking spices on the finish. the palate is all slightly desiccated but still vibrant red fruit. exciting, elegant and made my friends smile.

May 13th, 2023Medium dark rubi robe, nose of wild cherries, flowers, spices and a hint of top soil. Medium bodied and very accessible now, but with 5 to 10 years potential. Its got to be best QPR in red burgundy we got in a long while.

Dec 30th, 2019Compelling. Clear Blue-ruby. Quiet nose- sweet red cherries and strawberries, neutral on florality and herbs. Clean. Medium bodied. Tart and pure red fruit including red raspberry balsamic vinegar on palate with a healthy undercurrent fine grit tannins and earth. Great interplay between tart and mineral that resolves silky and balanced.
