See previous note in August 2022. Vines planted in 1961 in the Eden Valley. A fuller riper style than the usual Pewsey Vale - still finishing dry. Aromatics of Lemon and Lime. The terroir and the quality of the fruit showing through. Not a hint of TDN (Kerosene/Petrol) showing through. Could cellar for another 3 to 4 years if desired up to its 10th birthday.

Pale lemon, this crisp dry Riesling shows aromas of citrus fruits, herbs and blossom notes. On the palate flavors of grapefruit and citrus with hints of fresh herbs. Medium finish, lively acidity, ending with citrus and floral herb notes. Drink now!

Pretty much textbook Aussie Riesling. Tart apples, lemons, limes, and a little of that trademark petrol funk. Doesn't quite woo me the way many other Aussie Rieslings do, but it's solid.
