Cuvée Indigène Chardonnay

So incredibly well put-together, rich nose and knit in the way only CA chard can be - large and oaky, but this one intricately melded together with tropical fruit, banana skins and crisp minerality. Impressive and age-worthy from magnum.

16’ Peter Michael Cuvee Indigene.
Do yourself a favor & decanted this in a cellar for 60- 90 minutes.
Intense nose of mineral, dried apricot, peach.
WOW… Rich pear, fig, butter, honeysuckle, hazelnut, Banana foster, 4/10 acidity.
Flipping sick!
Wish I had a case of this.
No problem holding onto this wine for another decade.

Beautiful pear and green apple notes with a beautiful balance of oak and acidity. Silly good.

What a great wine. Acid is killer. Terrific finish. Complex. Elegant. Awesome inner mouth aromas. Really surprised me.

I’m not sure if I have ever had a Chardonnay like this. There was so much concentration here. Salted popcorn kernel, but also some pineapple? Incredibly unique. The finish was savory. One of the most complex chardonnays I’ve had to date. It’s been 2 hours and I’m still thinking about it!
