*Disclaimer I sell this wine* Day 3 of a sample, paired with a late leftover dinner of cast iron grilled boneless pork chop with polenta and a white wine gravy. Beautiful almost opaque ruby color, with a bright nose of violets. Lots of licorice, chocolate and deep red fruits on the palate, gripping tannins on the finish. A nice way to wrap up the week!

Lean and elegant with dried rose petal, saddle, mineral and cherry skins with moderate tannins and great acid. Should be left alone for at least 4 years but I couldn't wait. Great vintage in Barbaresco, Hold it.

Aug 16th, 2013First day, this never gave much. Not much fruit and somewhat astringent on the finish. Tannins we’re still rough. 24 hours later it showed a bit better.
