Sipping Fine Wine

The winery began in 1927 when John Pedroncelli, Sr. purchased vineyards in Sonoma County's Dry Creek Valley. Aromas of ripe fruits with floral scents. On the palate flavors of cherry and strawberry, toasted oak notes with black pepper. Lively acidity, fine tannins, good balance on medium finish. Ok value, drink now.

Purchased in 1927 by John Pedroncelli, Sr. and developed nicely into a modern premium purchased small winery in Sonoma County's Dry Creek Valley. Ruby with concentrated fruit and floral aromas. On the palate cherry and sweet plum flavors with oak and light spicy notes. Vivid acidity, fine tannins with good mouthfeel on lingering finish ending with toasty notes. Good value.

Spicy and complex. Citrus acidity. Not as smooth as I like a Pinot to be.
