Dark and succulent Cabernet offers layers of flavors from deep BlackBerry, Cherri and Cassis to warm spice notes. Consumed 12/2018. Purchased at Aldi. With medium density, a balanced palate and a nice integration of oak, this wine captures the essence of Sonoma County. Pairs well with grilled lamb chops and barbecued spareribs.

Well balanced and tasty. Pretty good deal for $13 at Aldi.

Not bad for an Aldis buy. It really does open up after a while. I like the character progression. Certainly the kind of wine to keep around for a rainy day.

A good Aldi Cabernet find. Oak, tannic, vanilla, and dark berry. Good to keep around for a weekday bottle.

Had the 2021 in April of 2024. Aldi wine for $11.99 so decided to try it. Nothing special. Hints of oak with some black cherry. Minimal finish. Definitely tasted better as it opened up but I probably wouldn’t buy this one again.

This was good. It needs some time to open up and breathe for the full flavor to bloom. Once those sophisticated notes of berry, basil, and leather begin to tingle, I am reminded that Q3 taxes are overdue and the basement still needs formal radon testing. I will be having a second glass. Another good Aldi provision.
