Val do Salnés Rías Baixas Albariño

I liked this better than the 2015 I had 2 years back. Salty and briny, good umami. Nice and oily, medium body and viscosity.

Really good. Tart, crisp, clean. Grapefruit. Fairly viscous. Delicious!

Drinking well. One of my ‘go to’ Albariño. Crisp, grapefruit, with medium body. Not as light as a Txakolina.

A very lovely Albariño from the WS Top 100 Tasting. I do not drink a lot of white wine but this has to be one of my favorite varietals. Perhaps it is the briny aromas and bold fruit that lure me in every time. Should have bought more than one of these.

Delicious and representative of an Albariño. Perfect acidity to cut rich seafood (paella). Excellent baseline marker of this grape with hints of chalk/preserved lemon/apple peel. More please....
