Sipping Fine Wine

Had this about a year ago and tried another bottle to see if short term aging had some benefit. Started by the Creixell family in 1991. Produced with the fruit from their 12-hectare estate in Valle del Salnes. Vivid straw yellow with citrus and stone fruit aromas and herb notes. The palate shows ripe apple and grapefruit flavors, crisp with floral and mineral tones. Round medium finish, well balanced, generous acidity on a soft ending. Easy drinking, wine developed soft edges over a year. Very nice!

Pear, peach, apricot, chalk, minerals, white flowers. Fruit is a bit rounder on the palate, good acidity, slight salinity.
