Patricia Green Cellars
Volcanic Dundee Hills Pinot Noir

2008 vintage. Tasted more like a 2018 or 2019 vintage. So youthful and full of punch. Great stuff. 9.14.23.

Decanted 90 minute before drinking over another 90. Classic Willamette Jory soil nose as the wine opened up. Plenty of fruit balanced with strong acidity and a moss/mineral character. Great example of an enjoyable (if not big, at 14%) Willamette Pinot.

Drank in March 2018. Still needs time for the oak to integrate. A nice wine - needs time.

Mar 24th, 2018Great Pinot. High def fruit with all kinds of yummy earthiness and acidity in spades. Could sit for awhile and improve.

Dundee Hills comes to play yet again. Really beautiful ruby red color - perfect for a US Soccer victory tonight. Berries throughout. Typical Oregon Pinot finish. Definitely on the repeat list. Would love to have a few years from now.
