Needed a couple days to open but only 12.5% abv and very Burgundian. Cherry and anise showing through on the re-visit.

Medium reddish purple in color with aromas of red berries, cherry cola, spice cake, and hints of earth. Medium bodied with good concentration and balance on the palate finishing with silky tannins. Sourced from their estate vineyard in the Ribbon Ridge AVA including a mixture of Pinot Noir clones planted between 1984 and 1990 in thin marine sedimentary soils. Made with one third whole clusters and only 8% new French oak. 14% alcohol.

Vibrant nose of moss, sour cherries on the palate with med to high acidity. Still feeling like a tot. Many good years ahead of this one.

Fairly pretty nose but palate tasted a little jumbled. Might just need more time to unwind. Quite a bit of power with balance and good acidity. Not sure what to make of it but probably has upside potential.

The nose that keeps on giving. Very 2012. Kind of a slut, but you'll hear no slut-shaming here. #delectableapp

Spice box. Alive and kicking. Serious complexity.

Translucent ruby red, even a bit cloudy. Nose was funky initially, but improves and gains focus with air. Great Pinot character, and fresh, if not especially structured.

Brilliant garnet red. Fruity nose of red currant and raspberry. Supple tannins and luscious red fruit leather and earth. Sorry I have but the one bottle. Drink now.
