Aromas and flavors of ash, salted black cherries, iron/rust, bitter herbs and an oily floral essence. Right now it's all about austere red fruits and earthy mineral. Drink now.

Oct 16th, 2015Wishing I were on Etna right now while Passopisciaro's Nerello Mascalese grapes are coming in from Contrada Porcaria. Meanwhile I'll be enjoying the 2012 Passopisciaro Rosso, drinking great with its fresh, ripe red fruits and peppery, mineral-driven finish.
