Aromas of roses with some raspberry and charcuterie notes. Barely medium bodied with light tannins and acid on an essentially savoury palate. Made in the Geelong district, south west of Melbourne - better known for its excellent Pinot and Chardonnay. Faded a bit after a couple of hours in the decanter with astringent notes.

@Delectable Wine It says straight Shiraz on the back label
Truly this is a great wine
Truly elegant but also full flavour on the palate
We find from the fruit ( quite dark, but nevertheless crisp) to spices, cola, olive brine, basil, coffee, butterscotch and plenty more.
Very long finish
I think I will try to hold in my other bottle for at least 5 years to see what happens
I am very happy with this 🤗

Georgeous black/red fruited flavours. Great weight and density, savoury tones with slight spice and long finish. Wish I had given it more time in the decanter. Wish I had a whole lot more!

Good vibrant colour. Good blend of old and new world Shiraz characteristics. Noticeable oak. Went well with lamb chops. 17.

Already presenting with fine grained tannins yet with sufficient acid to give it a future for a few more years. Balanced. Earthy, savoury, very much inspired by the old world expression of this varietal. Maybe lacking a little intensity compared to previous vintages.

Beautiful cool climate, Northern Rhone-like, fruit. For me however the acid really stuck out. Will it ever integrate? No idea. :-/
