2011- limestone dusted cherry and balanced longevity. Really surprised how much I'm enjoying this Umbrian Pinot.

More of a nice red than a Pinot Nero given its flamboyant ripeness & very full body, but a very tasty drink nonetheless.

This needs to sit for a few more years... Densely packed black fruit and gravel. The wine is almost masculine. Oak is minimal but pretty big for a pinot. I could see this sitting in a cellar for at least 7-8 more years.

Not usually a fan of Italian #PinotNero but this one is hitting all 8 cylinders. Very Burgundian in style with a hint of that classic barnyard George Clinton funk but nothing overwhelming. We like a little funk, gotta have some funk. Earth tones, faint hint of violets. Great on its own.

Pinot Nero isn't something I get to drink every day. And I love it.

Drank at dinner with Josh and Kim. Big and rich. Needed decanting. Excellent with house-made Italian sausage ravioli.

Dry, fruity, flavorful bursts of cherry and spice. Reminiscent of a pinot noir. Love love love - we got 3 bottles at A16! Almost sold out. Perfection for $60
