I believe that Barolo should be at least 25 years old before drinking. This was tight after decanting, but blossomed after about 45 minutes. Classic old style barolo.

Really enjoyed this wine. Firm tannin structure and high acidity on the palate with rose petal and charred meat on the nose.

This was pretty delicious. No detailed notes as too engrossed in an indulgent dinner to go with it. Approachable now with good intensity of flavour and fine tannins.
