Clearly I've been on a Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc binge lately. This one wasn't as fresh and crisp as the others. This was predominantly melon flavors with less citrus and acidity than I usually like in a Sauvignon Blanc. Still enjoyable, just not quite as refreshing as the Matua/Squealing Pig.

Fruity with a light citric bite, this wine tastes of tart I ripe peaches and plums. It is still quite young (2014 vintage!) and may mellow out over the next few months.
