This producer always signals a meaningful event in wine tasting is about to occur. It presents as pure on the nose and palate. This is flashy, but not trivial. Fresh and informal. Sweet, textured and layered with bright acidity. Nothing is hyped up. just excellent wine making.

Jun 19th, 2021Precision engineering in a bottle. This is so well sculptured. The basic function here is the intensity of the fruit. It’s not bombastic, just intense enough to make you sit a little more upright. For the vintage, this wine has grown up fast. Swipe to the right.

So, Anne-Marie wanted a rescue dog, and after two weeks, I require a rescue. He goes by Miller, and he’s a little Jeckel and Hyde, but every day we see forward progress. He likes Napa cabs, particularly Outpost. Miller’s notes were that this 16 is drum-tight. Nose presents coffee, spice box and overripe black fruits. The palate goes on for dog 🐶 days, woof! The finish is intense, tannic and ripe. Do I detect a smidge of Pup-Perroni doggy treats? 🐶

Aug 9th, 2020Look up the noun consistency, and you’ll see a picture of this wine. Ripe fruits, broad-shouldered tannins, and bright acidity define the contours of this excellent cab. Finishes plush and exotic.
