This a leaner style of Barolo. Somewhat tightly wound, but it opens with time. Tannic and age-worthy, but I doubt fruit notes will last much longer. Plenty of tertiary notes here of tar and cedar.

High alcohol 14.5%? and over extracted according to Randy my best wine buddy. Almost like a port wine. Oxidized. In short this producer is a disappointment this is not the first wine over the years I have tried from these folks with the same outcome a shame.
