This a leaner style of Barolo. Somewhat tightly wound, but it opens with time. Tannic and age-worthy, but I doubt fruit notes will last much longer. Plenty of tertiary notes here of tar and cedar.

High alcohol 14.5%? and over extracted according to Randy my best wine buddy. Almost like a port wine. Oxidized. In short this producer is a disappointment this is not the first wine over the years I have tried from these folks with the same outcome a shame.

Good, could have aged longer but was good now. Great with food, traditional rusty color, tannic...ate with spaghetti and meatballs

Garnet and clean to the appearance. Raspberry, red cherries, strawberry jam, dry figs to the nose. High acidity and tannins.
