Love the more Euro style of Oakville Ranch’s Napa Chard. Nice notes of grapefruit mixed with apple and a little bit of oak instead of huge oak that blows the fruit away. Had it with a great swordfish steak and it was money!

Straw yellow in color the nose was fresh and clean with zesty citrus, green apple and toasted coconut. Ripe layers of fruit unfolded over time and gave up lemon, Asian pear and pineapple. There was a flinty mineralogy floating through the finish. Not past it’s prime but it definitely wasn’t going to improve with more age. Got this one just in time.
