Super honeyed, at its peak

At 5+ years this wine is just hitting its stride. Fresh, lively, stone fruit and mineral character with good bit of flesh.

Found a funky bottle -06 from the closet. Thought it might already be gone, but it was still ok to drink, even though direction was already down the hill. Golden colour, lemony nose, apricot, hey and almonds, toasty oak tones, on the pallet and rather lively acidity balanced long aftertaste. High warming alcohol.

Floral with a nice grip incredibly drinkable

Yet another youthful #wine that improves with a few hours decanting to relax its grippy tannins. Moving my decanters to a more reachable shelf!

Feels like the wine has unintendedly been exposed to some extra oxygen through a dried cork. Still drinkable.

Unremarkable.
