Nose dominated by red fruit and sweet tobacco. The palate follows this with loyalty. A trace of clove and nutmeg followed by a burst of leathery tannin. Well made wine, just not my cup of tea.

This is the wine you want to finish your meal with....sweet tobacco, smokey..... Reminiscent of that giant inhale when you used to smoke tobacco. Tart cherry, sweet herbs, leathery.

2013 I have a weak spot for Dão, it gave me as student much pleasure! This is also good drinking with a huge FUN factor. Berries, smooth. Great friday dinerwine, I combined it with spaghetti meatballs tomatosauce.
