Delicious well made, elegant, rich and balanced. This village has 1er Cru quality and given the issues with the hail and destruction of vineyards I will not be surprised if it does includes 1er Cru plots, nose is rich with a hint of wet forest, animalistic notes, mushrooms, cassis and black berries, medium body, round, smooth, rich, delicious finish. My score 89, drink to 2022

High quality throughout, the wine is showing both provenance, and structure with developing complexity in the glass and a long balanced finish. Drinks well, and there’s no need to wait, even though it will continue to develop complexity for another five years or so.

Red core with brown rim. The nose was mature with med intensity. Med complexity showing desiccated red cherry and blackberry, stem, dried leaves, anise. The structure was soft and the the body a touch watery. No tension and med - complexity. Dry and short finish. #nicolasrossignol #volnay #pinotnoir #burgundy #ctbucklinwine

Terrific burgundy. Smells of old world barnyard and earth. But the palate is pretty, silky, and bright. Well done.

Still sipping this... Opening up beautifully... Lovely earthiness with a feminine floral touch.

Drank with cioppino. Enjoyable burgundy. Light fruit and mouthfeel. Light earthy fruit lingers. Dark blueberry.

Very elegant with a touch of structure. High acidity. A touch of VA but works. I like.
