Alexander Valley Bordeaux Style Blend. (Cabernet Sauvignon-15%, Merlot-80% with a touch of Petite Verdot-5%). Aromas of black and blue fruit. Strawberry and dark cherry flavors with notes of black pepper and cinnamon, Nicely structured and balanced. Soft tannins. Solid value!

Valentine’s Day! I bought cuz the name fit with the holiday, but I was pleasantly surprised. Dark cherry, but tart not sweet...still has a smooth feeling. We had it with ribs and broccoli rabe, then chocolate covered strawberries. Thank you Cupid! ❤️

Good. Bit of a harsh finish better if nothing left on pallet.

Would buy again.

Costco meatloaf, mashed potatoes and sautéed spinach. A bit hot upfront, plenty of fruit, moderate tannin on the finish. Probably better closer to cellar temp.

Wine #4 of a Chefs tasting. Not a crazy Cab Merlot blend but adequate. The low light of the night. It was paired with an uber spicy Espresso rubbed Elk. A Zin would have paired better.

Always a goto for me. Can’t beat this Merlot dominate blend for the price. Drink this a least a few times a month.
