Heredis Langhe Nebbiolo
High QPR wine at $12 (Sigel’s). Typical high-toned cherry and violets, with a touch of barnyard. Solid value, but there are other Langhe wines that are even harder to put down.

Feb 7th, 2021Had hi hopes for this and it ended up just being OK: more garnet & ruby than inky with cherry aromas that started ripe then turned to sour. Earthy funky barnyard soil-y tertiary notes faded in and out on the medium bodied / medium tannin mid-palate. Quite dry on finish. There were glimpses of the Noble Nebbiolo grape but it was just a bit muddled. Still a decent wine - particularly for the price.
