The 2020 Cotes du Crow’s is a Grenache/Syrah-based blend with touches of Mourvèdre and Tempranillo that add complexity. Red cherry, tobacco and dried herb hints open nicely. ripe, almost jammy raspberry, boysenberry. silky, medium weight, medium but soft tannins , medium - acid. juicy and easy in the best kind of way.

Just the name itself beholds seduction and intrigue, yet in the rare instances where emotions and logic imperceivably align, then, and only then, has true pairing perfection been finally attained.

Great Rhone blend from Monterey. %60 Grenache and %40 Syrah. Raspberry, sour blackberry and some spice. Nice bright acidity. Good value at $17

Nice Syrah/Grenache blend for the price. Very Californian though - lots of bright, intense fruit for this style. Great wine for people who want to get into Rhône blends.
