Viña Esmeralda Mediterranean Classic Gewürztraminer Muscat of Alexandria

This is getting a good rating because the price is such a bargain. Not a mind blowing wine but drinkable and enjoyable. Floral nose with a bit of lychee. Pear, alongside some other melon and tropical flavors and good cool crisp structure.

Lemon candy, quince, apple and dried apricot. Racy acidity and good minerality.

Floral and aromatic, well balanced in acidity, rich and round in mouth: a good white wine from Catalunya

When in Spain....
An uncomplicated Summer quaffer which at 11.5% alc. goes down like lemonade.

This is great for a hot day. Very light. Not dry but also not overly sweet. Awesome with appies or tapas 😄

2019 vintage.
Not much going on here taste wise.
Simple, one flavour of ripe, honeyed pears…..and the Stelvin closure failed.

As a Somm, I want to find positive with every wine…..here not so much.
Your mileage may vary.

$13 Medium nose. Notes of melon, peach, flowers, and herbaceousness. Off dry. Light body. Low acid, low tannins, low alcohol. Well balanced. Strong notes of mandarin orange on the tongue. Notes of peach, melon, passion fruit, and tangerine come later. Overall a pleasant light wine, with a hint of sweet. Definitely a good summer wine on a hot day. First Muscat from Alexandria!
