Palás Barolo Nebbiolo

Still a subpar Barolo, but better than most standard nebbiolos. I guess you get what you bargain for in this one. But don’t use it to impress anyone.

Somewhat lacking in structure.

Bright ruby red color with fresh aromas of red fruits and sweet herbs on the nose. Medium-to-full-bodied with very nice & fresh taste of bing cherry as well as a touch of sweet basil & mild pepper on the palate. Bright acidity together with clean & lively texture, soft tannins, and end well with mild spicy aftertaste. At under Bt1,000, this wine is considered good value for money & match well with cheese. Like it.

Nice at this price. Great body on it

This is still youthful. Needs a few more years at the very least. One of the better Barolo’s for its price point.

Cherry. Nice acid great length. Smooth tannins. Like a lot. 2 more bottles. Keeps going

Light to medium bodied with brownish red hue. Raspberry/blackberry/bing cherry on the nose and palate. Soft tannins and easy to drink. Pairs great with tomato and sweet basil with Parmesan

Beautiful dark purply red. Not much on the nose. Raspberry, red fruit cherry light spice. Light tannins and light body. Lots of red fruit. Good for pizza and pasta. Easy drinkability. Paired with pizza with eggplant, mozzarella, ricotta, and basil at Diecicento in Turin, Italy

Lovely Barolo!! Easy drinking and full, fruity

Very light with blackberry smells and tastes. Very good finish.
