Zesty as ever. Pepper, olives, Dr. Pepper.
13.9% abv. My last bottle of this vintage.

Blind #2. Tasters honed in on Syrah. New world followed. Beautiful example. Strong deduction by the tasting group. Fascinating next to the 2016 Guigal Cote Rotie.

A personal favorite. Enthralling aromatics. Bright and zesty. Olives galore. 13.9% abv.
Happy to have several more bottles. No rush.

Just how I like my Syrah. Zesty and peppery up front but leading to a more savory core of olives, violets, and wild brambly fruit. 40% whole cluster in neutral oak. Very complex with something to appreciate no matter your preferred style of the grape.

Pepper and plums. Good texture.

Great Melville! Flavor profile has a little white pepper and berries.

Red/black tart fruit, incredible pepper and unmistakable for syrah. Some meaty overtones and great acid. Could be mistaken for Cornas just as animalistic…but well done…

Insane. In the lineup for best affordable domestic syrah.
