Very ripe wine, raspberry, spice and a good dose of ABV. Little big for me, but would have many followers.

Another Great 2012 Melville Pinot , aromas of crushed berries, blackberry, plum really intense fruit on 1st sip. Back label says only 240 cases produced. Thanks Liz!! for allowing us to sell this and for me to buy a couple bottles. Need 15-20 minutes to open. Will let all know tomorrow . CB

Like a Magers breakfast smoothie. Lots of blueberry and dark raspberry, with some spice and sweetness. A bit hot at this time but great with polenta and butternut squash.

From a couple of nights ago, this is still one of the best pinots we’ve had from Melville.

Fantastic - one of the better incarnations of this wine from the past few vintages.

One of our favorites from Melville year in and year out...but not tonight. This is good - no doubt about that - has a wonderful elegance with hints of dried strawberry on the nose with a medium-bodied mouthfeel and a surprisingly persistent finish despite having a lot of weight in the mid-palate. But, surprisingly it is not in the same league as the Mount Eden Selection we had a while ago. All that being said, my feeling is that the 2011 Melville pinots are drinking perfectly right now, so pop ‘em if ya got ‘em!
