Great dried dark fruit balanced with bright acidity. Full mouth feel and lots of sagey notes. Yum

This has advanced nicely. It shows the classic Barolo aromatic and palate character, but has an excellent complexity in texture with intact tannic grip & a secondary nutty flavor ehancing the elegant red fruit. Drinking great right now.

Åpnet mens jeg har varmet opp hytta fra 2 kuldegrader. Aner ikke hvor jeg kjøpte denne, men den var en liten overraskelse. Glad jeg tok den med.

The first word that comes to mind for me with this wine is "big". The nose is very intense with some fruit, mint and smoke. Decanted for about 1 hour while cooking and had with a pork bolognese. Taste is rustic and earthy but with ripe red fruits as well. Long finish. Great wine and at a price that is affordable for a Barolo. Seems more accessible than others and while based on what I've read I'm sure it would age well, it's drinking quite well now.

I could drink this all day. No food necessary - just appreciate the sipping and reflect on the deliciousness.
