About 30 min to open up. Earth and herbal notes, blue fruits. Silky, lightweight for a Napa red, minerality and some acid for balance. My style!

Matthiasson 2008 NV Red Wine. We had it with a braised brisket of beef. The wine is luscious-- well balanced. Still very full-bodied without a bit of harshness. It's excellent now but would be even better with more time.

About 80$ a bottle from a wine shop. It is very tasty, slight hint of fruits, thereby not too sweet. Very complex layer of taste, perfect blend of boldness (not super strong) and mild fruit flavor. Would definitely have another bottle and recommend people to try it.
