This was great! Hefty, some ash and smoke, lots of black fruit and tannic weight, medium finish, great with rich winter food!

Had this out at dinner. Decent enough, but not as good as most of the Spanish Tempranillo that we’ve had.

Central Valley California Tempranillo. Blend of Tempranillo (78%) and Petite Verdot (22%). Dark ruby color with purple highlights. Faint aromas of red berries, black olives and dusty herbs. The palate features more blueberry and sour red berry flavors. Additional flavors of plums and cherry cola/cream soda . Hint of dark chocolate on the long finish. Firm tannins, rich and very concentrated.

Smells like fancy CA style wine. Some vanilla and oak stuff. Very full bodied. Luscious. Oak sauce. Cooked fruit flavors. More of a CA red blend style than true Spanish style Temp.

Ashy, kinda tannic blackberries & smoke—a great wintery wine. Nothing suave about it, but I’ll definitely buy again. And the label is fun—terrific!

She’s a talker....and doesn’t drink Italian wines. But Melissa suggested this one and it hit the spot.
Not very complicated on the nose and the right amount of dry.
This ‘top 10’ wine bar held up to its 15 score.
