Fruity Argentinian cab franc. Long finish with medium tannins. Really like the way the bitterness lingers. Went well with pork.

Well it is National Drink Wine Day! Very tannic but with lots of fruit flavor. A little earthy on the nose

Ruby hue with high saturation. Aromas and flavors of black cherry, coffee, licorice, pepper, plum, and smoke. Medium-plus body; soft, medium-plus tannins; and medium-plus acidity. Deep and complex nose; silky smooth mouthfeel; and a lovely, medium-length finish. Already good without decanting, and an excellent wine for food pairings. Made from 100% Cabernet Franc.

This took awhile to unfold -showing great depth after 90mins w/varietally correct expression of red cherry mingled with black pepper & herbaceous funk. There is a certain elegance here, bare minimum acidity required, smooth tannins - not more Alc than I’d prefer but overall quite impressive vis a vis price point .

Wonderful structure, beautiful garnet color, very mushroomy nose, tart red cherry fruit. Luscious, and a true bargain.

For fans of high acid structured red...the tart cranberry and volcanic backbone would cut a goat cheese salad

Sharp and peppery, with pretty heavy tobacco and stemmy, 48hrs after first opening. Remember it being mellower in night 1. Solid for $18

Very nice, tart and acidic Cabernet franc. @Byron C Mayes was right, this is a good new world version but there tightness that isn’t in the old world version. I like it and would love it if I hadn’t had the French version. This needs food and decanting for a while. But still good. I’d lean towards the old world version though.
