Unánime Gran Vino Tinto Cabernet Sauvignon Blend 2014

Fruit forward, spicy, and full bodied. Needs to open for acidity to pass. Was great after an hour, even better after 2. — 4 days ago

Bodegas Santa Ana

La Mascota Cabernet Franc 2016

Well it is National Drink Wine Day! Very tannic but with lots of fruit flavor. A little earthy on the nose — 3 months ago

@Shawn Thompson oh! That is so cool. I didn’t know there was a Delectable Digest, I’ll have to check it out!

Sharon, I just read your featured user article and saw that you are interested in traveling back to France to visit the wine regions. May I suggest that you go to Tinto travels.com and look at the tours that they offer. My wife and I have been on two of their tours (Tuscany and Portugal).and are going back to Portugal in two weeks. I cannot speak highly enough of them. Peter and Nina personally accompany all tours which normally have 20 people on average.

La Mascota Mendoza Malbec 2016

Can, not the malbec. Leather, strong tannins, dark cherry, plum. Very enjoyable. Bold but easy enough to enjoy over more than one glass — 4 months ago

Wonderful structure, beautiful garnet color, very mushroomy nose, tart red cherry fruit. Luscious, and a true bargain. — a month ago

Extra Brut Rosé Blend

A very pale salmon-colored rosé. Bubbles are fine and persistent, though the mousse dissipates quickly (even though it’s a wee bit warmer that it should be. Nose is a bit shy yielding red fruits and hibiscus. Tart but weighty palate echoes the nose adding sharp acidity (which is to be expected). Don’t be scared. The prevailing world climate makes extra brut wines quite approachable. This is no exception. Enjoy as an aperitif or with seafood, poultry, or soft cheeses. — 4 months ago
