What a nose! Fruit, flowers, vines, and sunshine. Actually, only complaint was it was a little hot on alcohol. Left half a bottle for two nights later and that issue smoothed out but some of the powerful nose faded. On sale so going back for another ( 2nd bottle a few weeks later was consistent).

Cherry, currants, earth, licorice and vanilla. Ripe but still elegant. The %70 new oak is apparent on the finish. It may integrate with a little more time.

14.8% alc.
Showing super ripe (and with ethyl acetate notes) this pushes extraction and full body to a new level for Pinot N.
I prefer a more supple take on this varietal but I could see this having fans in the "Big & Bold" camp.
@Delectable Wine - this is Bella Vigna.

Super good Pinot. More on the hedonistic side of things but just short of going over the top. Smells of pomegranate, cranberry, and black cherry dragged through a newly paved tarry road. Tastes like black pepper and watermelon jolly rancher with good rounded mid palate.

Light Ruby with aromas of red fruits and spice. On the palate cherry, raspberry and gentle earthy oak flavors come forth. Tannins are firm and rich, well balanced on a Medium+ finish.

Smooth but past its prime. Should have opened it 5 years ago.
