Reserve Angeline Vineyards Mendocino County Pinot Noir

Deep Ruby color with aromas of red fruits, floral notes and spice. On the palate flavors of cherry and blackberry with floral, tea and pepper spice. Firm tannins, medium finish ending with fruit, spice and an earthy mineral character. Drink now, no aging benefit.

Decent acidity and tart fruit. Strong sulfur though. Good for price range but not for varietal or AVA

A bit aggressive

My kinda Pinot Noir, very smooth, full but not too full, light but not too light, just right.

Silky smooth black cherry. Not very complex but it has an undeniable charm. I liked it enough that I would absolutely buy again.

Deep dark ruby with a sunset blush rim.
A sort of sweet maple on the nose.
Black cherry chocolate, root beer, sassafras, coalesce into an earthy, medium-long finish. Herbaceous, mineral tannins provide background structure.

Great PN nose of black cherry, cola, exotic spices, vanilla, etc - decadent aromatics, but palate just didn’t hold up. Drying out - off balanced - fell apart w/astringency on finish.

Not great.

Another Costco Hawaii Kai find for $14. Had with rack of lamb. A reliably priced bottle of wine.
