Youthful color, just the slightest bricking color at the edge. Nose of beautiful , aged wine with fall leaves, forest floor, dried red fruits and a hint of plum meets tobacco. Palate is elegant, and then the tannins and a long finish smack you in the mouth with some juicy acidity.

Dark red fruits on the nose, oak comes through on the palate without being offensive. Tart cherry rhubarb finishing with dusty tannins, a slightly short finish.

I liked this a lot in the past but now I am not so sure. It's lacking something. I think this lacks tannins, structure and deep flavour, body, and acidity a Barolo might demonstrate. It's a bit disappointing for me now
