Palate: lighter than expected on the front palate, silky smooth quickly expands to
dusty cocoa finish. Plum. Tannins are a bit surprising in proportion to the medium-light body, but smooth out a bit after 30 mins. — 10 years ago
Dark red fruits on the nose, oak comes through on the palate without being offensive. Tart cherry rhubarb finishing with dusty tannins, a slightly short finish. — 9 years ago
Nose: Lime, white peach, floral, honeydew rind, light candied notes a la marzipan, bark of some sort? having trouble placing that.
Palate: medium to medium full body, medium-light oily viscosity, lime, kiwi center, honeydew, candied almond/marzipan, apricot mid to late, mild lemon/lime orange pith finish. Subtle nod to sweet finishes dry and with a touch of bitter.
Well-balanced. Lots of character.

Give it a half hour to open up, green vegetation and soil at first. Nose of tobacco, fig, blackberry. palate of ripe dark strawberries, soil, green pepper, cassis, orange rind, medium light bodied, smooth tannins. — 10 years ago
